Ingredients

  • 2 cupFOR DOUGH -Wheat flour/ gehun ka atta -
  • Salt/ namak – as per taste
  • 3 tablespoonsGhee -
  • 1 cupFOR STUFFING -Boiled and grated potatoes -
  • 2-3 piecesGreen chilli/ hari mirch :
  • lal mirch powder, dry mango powder, garam masala as par taste
  • 1/2 teaspoonCoriander/ dhaniya powder -
  • 2 tablespoonChopped corianader leaves/ dhaniyapatta -
  • Ghee as required for frying
  • to tasteSalt/ namak

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix all ingredients of dough and make a dough for kachori. Cover it and rest it for 10 minutes.

  2. 2

    Now mix all ingredients of stuffing.

  3. 3

    Divide the dough and make 8 balls from it.

  4. 4

    Take a ball and roll it using rolling pin to make a roti and cut using round shape cookies cutter. Prepare rest of the balls.

  5. 5

    Take a roti and put 1 teaspoon stuffing and cover with another piece and then fold it by joining the edges.

  6. 6

    Heat ghee in a pan on medium flame and then fry kachori in it.

  7. 7

    Take them out once they become crispy and golden brown in colour.

  8. 8

    Delicious snack 'Aloo Ki Kachori' is ready to be served with chutney!
