Ingredients

3 servings
  • 250 gmKundra washed and cut into 3-4
  • 1/2 teaspooncumin seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoonmustard seeds
  • 1 pinchasaefotida
  • to tastesalt
  • 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  • 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  • 1 big pinch garam masala powder
  • 1 tablespooncoriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoonmango powder
  • 1/4 cupwater
  • 3 tablespoonscooking oil

Steps

15minutes
  1. 1

    Heat oil in pan
    Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds and asaefotida when they stop spluttering add ivy gourd and saute well.

  2. 2

    Pour 2 tablespoons water and cover the lid now cook that for 2min on medium flame.

  3. 3

    Add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, mango powder and garam masala powder saute till it it done (dry). switch off the flame.

  4. 4

    Serve this to your guest with dal rice.
