  • 2 cupsall purpose flour
  • 1tbp baking powder
  • 1tap salt
  • 1 cupbutter
  • 2 cupwhite sugar
  • 5eggs
  • 1tap coconut extract
  • 1 cupbuttermilk
  • 1 cupflaked coconut

    Preheat oven to 350 degree. Grease and flour a 10 inch pan

  2. 2

    Mix flour, baking powder, and salt together and put aside

  3. 3

    Beat butter and sugar with an electric mixer in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Then add eggs one at a time allowing each egg to blend into the butter mixture before adding the next. Mix coconut extract

  4. 4

    Pour in flour in the mixture alternately with the buttermilk, mixing until just incorporated.add coconut mixing just enough to evenly combine

    Put the mixture into the pan

    Bake at 350 degrees f(175 degrees c)
