Chayote is in Kannada seeme badanekai. It's chutney is so tasty dip along chapatis and roties.
Steps

Heat oil and fry garlic till golden brown.

Add peel of chayote and green chilli, saute for 2 minutes.

Add salt and water.

Followed by turmeric powder, tamarind pulp and close the lid to cook.

Check the cookness, add pepper powder and coconut.
- 6
Again close the lid and cook until water completely absorbed, switch off and allow it to cool.

Now grind it smoothly without water.

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
