Ingredients

  1. 1 lbpenne pasta, uncooked
  2. 1/4 cupItalian herb salad dressing
  3. 2chicken breast, cut into peices
  4. 1 lbbacon, diced
  5. 1 bunchfresh asparagus spears, cut into 1 inch pieces
  6. 1red pepper, chopped
  7. 1 canchicken brotb
  8. 8 ozcream cheese
  9. 1 cupfresh grated parmesan cheese
  10. 10grape tomatoes, cut into quarters

Steps

  1. 1

    Cook penne according to package directions.

  2. 2

    Meamwhile; heat dressing in a large skillet on medium heat.

  3. 3

    Add chicken and vegetables, cook 10 minutes or until chicken is cooked through, stirring frequently.

  4. 4

    In another pan, fry bacon and remove from grease, add to the chicken mixture.

  5. 5

    Add broth and cheese, cook 1 minute or until cheese is melted, stirring constantly. Add parmesan cheese and mix well.

  6. 6

    Drain pasta, and return to pot.

  7. 7

    Add chicken and vegetable mixture; toss lightly.

  8. 8

    Cook 1 minute or until heated trough. Sauce will thicken as it stands.

  9. 9

    Fold in tomatoes and serve
