Creamy chesse & potato pie with ham

Pre-heat oven 200c/ gas mark 6. Prepare the mashed potato, adding a splash of mayo and butter to make it creamy and fluffy.

Add the onion to the potato. Put 3/4 of the chesse into the potato and blend it all together.

Layer a 1 liter pie dish with half the potato mix, then add a layer of ham and the rest of the potato mix. Sprinkle over the last of the grated chesse.

Cook for 25-30 minutes until the chesse is melted and golden.

Best served with warm crusty bead and plum tomatoes.
