2 tbspvegetable or canola oil
2 tbspflour
4 tbspchili powder
1/2 tspgarlic powder
1/2 tspsalt
1/4 tspcumin
1/4 tsporegano
2 cupchicken broth

heat oil in a sauce pan over medium-high heat

add flour and stir together for one minute
3

stir in the remaining seasonings
4

gradually add in the chicken broth whisking constantly to remove lumps
5

reduce heat and simmer 10-15 minutes until thick
