Steps

Firstly wash and soak rice in water for half an hour and keep aside.

Take a pan put milk and cook for 5-10 minutes.

Boil milk on medium flame and then cook on simmer flame after that add rice and cook again for 25-30 minutes or until milk gets reduced to 1/4 of it's quantity

Keep string every 2-3 minutes.

Now add chopped nuts and raisins,cordamom powder.

Now kheer is ready switch off the flame and add grated /mashed Jaggery and mix well properly.

Garnish with chopped cashews and almonds and serve this mouth-watering and delectable gur kheer warm or chilled.
