Ingredients

  • Meatloaf
  • 2 1/2 lbmince beef (hamburger meat)
  • 1 mediumonion
  • 1/2 cupbread crumbs
  • 3/4 cupgrated cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbspmixed herbs
  • 1 tbsporegano
  • 1 pinchwhite pepper
  • 1 pinchgarlic powder
  • 1/4 cupketchup
  • 1 dashWorcestershire sauce
  • 2eggs
  • 1 tbspdry BBQ Seasoning
  • 1cube of beef stock jelly (like Knorr)
  • 2 tbspBBQ sauce (HP Honey Woodsmoke is nice)
  • Glaze
  • 2 tbspketchup
  • 1 tbsphoney
  • 1/4 tspWorcestershire sauce

Steps

    Preheat oven 175°F C

  2. 2

    Chop & Saute onion

  3. 3

    Mix your beef, saute onions, bread crumbs, cheese, seasonings in large bowl.

  4. 4

    Beat eggs, ketchup, W.sauce and HP sauce until smooth. Add to meat mixture.

  5. 5

    Line loaf tin with a few slices of bread (soaks up grease when meatloaf cooks. Then remove once meatloaf is cooked!)

  6. 6

    Press meat mixture into loaf tin above bread slices.

  7. 7

    Mix glaze until smooth (ketchup, honey, W.sauce) Rub onto top of meatloaf.

  8. 8

    Cook for 45-50 minutes & Enjoy with mashed potatoes, peas and gravy if you like... :)
