cream butter until fluffy

add water cream, gradually add flour

chill several hours or overnight

on lightly floured board, and roll to 1/8 inch thickness

use about 1/4 dough at a time.

using cookie cutter in desired shapes

handle with spatula. Dip each cookie into granulated sugar

Place on un greased cookie sheet. Prick each piece with a fork. Bake at 350°F 7-8 minutes.

Handle with care! They are like pie crust and break easily

Butter Cream Filling Blend powdered sugar and butter. Add vanilla and few drops of food coloring if desired.

Spread on half of cookies, placing another one as topper.
