Steps

Mix the flour, oats, sugar, salt and a teaspoon of cinnamon in a large bowl.

Rub in 100 grams of the butter or margarine until evenly mixed.

Peel the apples and chop into slices.

Add half the apples to a medium sized dish. Cover with a dash of lemon juice and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Cover with half the crumble mixture.

Cover with the remaining apple slices. Again add a dash of lemon juice and cinnamon and then cover with the rest of the crumble. Distribute the remaining butter/margarine across the crumble surface.

Bake in a preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes at 210 °C (Fan Oven)
