Preheat oven to 350°F.

In crock pot insert, cover stew meat with chili powder, garlic, salt and pepper. Mix well with your hands.

Add beans, tomatoes, green pepper and tomato sauce. Stir well.

Cover with lid or foil and bake for 2 1/2 hours. Remove cover for last 20 minutes.

Allow to cool for 10 minutes.

Serving options: Add cheese, crackers and/or pasta. Also, for spicier chili, do not drain beans and use only 1 can of tomato sauce.
