My husband made this for me tonight and it is FABULOUS

This is my assigned dish to bring to family holiday dinners. It's sweet and salty flavor combined with crunchy and smooth textures are a hit. Ironically, no taffy or caramel in the ingredients. Beware to diners with peanut allergies.

Making the same apple cake over and over is boring, so I came up with this new version.For those who don't want their cut apples to discolour, squirt some lemon juice . In Step 2 when making the caramel, lining the frying pan makes it far easier to clean at the end! Keep an eye on the caramel right until it changes colour. This caramel never gets to hard, since it is made from scratch it remains chewy and delicious!

Had all the ingredients on hand and thought wow that sounds good! Not a drink you will drink many of in an evening because it is on the sweet side and fairly strong. This tastes amazing and is a great treat to sip on while cooking.
