My favorite growing up. Moms go to recipe. So good it was published in Taste of Home magazine circa the 90s

Heat oven to 350. Place pheasant pieces in an ungreased 9x9 baking dish.

Mix remaining ingredients except paprika and pour over chicken. Sprinkle generously with paprika.

Basting chicken occasionally with sauce, bake, uncovered, 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until fork tender.

After baking for 1 hour, generously sprinkle with paprika again.

Serve with mashed potatoes. Can double recipe to make a 9x13 pan.
I usually thicken the gravy with cornstarch and water.
