  1. 1 cupThick poha (mota chura) -
  2. 1 tspMustard seeds -
  3. 1-2Green chillies chopped -
  4. 1Finely chopped onion -
  5. 1Small diced potato -
  6. 2 tbspgreen peas
  7. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder -
  8. 7-8Curry leaves -
  9. to tasteSalt -
  10. 1 tspLemon juice -
  11. 1 tbspOil -
  12. 1/2 tspSugar -
  13. 2 tbsp carrot

  1. 1

    Soak the poha with little amount of water and cover it for half an hour.

    Heat oil in a kadai, put the mustard seeds to crackle.

    Add onion and potato till light brown

    Add green peas,carrot, curry leaves, turmeric powder and green chilliy and saute for 5-6 minutes.

  5. 5

    . Add poha and salt and cook for 2-3 minutes.

  6. 6

    . When the poha gets ready, mix sugar and lemon juice and serve in the break fast.

  7. 7

    Note -To make the poha soft, soak and cover it for half and hour.
