Ingredients

  • 1 cupsr cornmeal
  • 1 cupsr flour
  • 1/4 cupsugar
  • 1/4 tspsalt
  • 1/4 cupvegetable oil
  • 1 largeegg
  • 12 ozcan of evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cupdiced jalapeños and a little juice from jar
  • 1 tsppowdered turmeric

Steps

  1. 1

    mix all dry ingredients

  2. 2

    add all the wet ingredients egg included mix all very well

    get frying pan hot add mixture to pan in small batches

    cook like pancakes repeat till done

  5. 5

    I added jalapeños to the last part of mix making about 7
