Ingredients

4 servings
  • DAL FRY:- 300gm masoor dal
  • 1tomato sliced
  • 2green chillies chopped into 3
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1/2 teaspoonturmeric powder
  • For Tempering:-4 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 1 teaspooncumin seeds
  • 6nos chopped garlic pods
  • 1 sprigcurry leaves
  • GOBHI ALOO SABZI:-250gm cauliflower (Cut into pieces)
  • 4medium size potatoes (cut each into 4 pieces)
  • 1medium size sliced tomato
  • 1medium size sliced onion
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1big pinch of asafoetida
  • 1 teaspooncumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoongarlic paste
  • 1 teaspoonginger paste
  • 1 teaspoonspicy red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoongaram masala powder
  • 1 tablespooncoriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoonturmeric powder
  • 2 tablespoonsfresh chopped coriander leaves
  • 4 tablespoonscooking oil
  • tawa bhindi fry:-
  • 250 gmladyfinger (Cut into long)
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1/4 teaspoongaram masala powder
  • 1/2 teaspoonred chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoonmango powder
  • 3 tablespoonscooking oil
  • GALKA:- 1kg galka peeled and sliced
  • 1medium size sliced onion (optional)
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 teaspooncumin seeds
  • 5nos green chillies chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoonturmeric powder
  • 1/4 cupcooking oil
  • Fruit Custard:- 1/2litre milk
  • 1&1/2 tablespoon vanilla flavour custard powder
  • 1/2 cuppowdered sugar
  • 4bananas sliced
  • 1rougly chopped apple
  • 1/2 cuppomegranate
  • Peru Kachalu:- 4 sliced guava (peru)
  • 1/3 cupsugar
  • 1 teaspoonblack pepper powder
  • 1big pinch black salt
  • Zeera Rice:- 500gm basmati rice
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 teaspooncumin seeds
  • 2 tablespoonscooking oil
  • Water required
  • Buttermilk:- 2&1/2cups curd
  • 2 cupswater
  • 1/3 teaspoonsalt
  • 1 pinchroasted cumin powder (optional)

Steps

  1. 1

    Method for Dal Fry:- Add masoor dal, salt, tomato, turmeric powder and required water in pressure cooker. Pressure cook it on 3 whistles. Switch off flame and wait till air release and tempered it

  2. 2

    Method For Gobhi Aloo Sabzi:- Heat oil in deep wok, splutter cumin seeds and asafoetida.
    Add onion and let them cook till it turn into pink. Make fine paste of ginger, garlic, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder by adding little water.

    Add tomato in wok and cook it on  high flame till tomatoes become dry. Add paste and cook till oil starts floating on all over masala(bhuno).
    Add potatoes in it, cover the lid and cooked for 5minutes on low flame.
    Add cauliflower and cook till it done.
    Garnish with coriander leaves.

  4. 4

    Method For Tawa Bhindi Fry:- Heat oil on tawa, add ladyfingers and cook till it become soft.
    Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and aamchur powder mix it gently.
    Cook till it become crisp.

  5. 5

    Method For Galka:- Heat oil in deep wok, splutter cumin seeds and green chilies. Add onion and cooked till the little colour change. Add Galka and mix it well. Cook till it get soft. Add salt and turmeric powder in it and mix well, cook it on high flame till the  Galka dry/done. In between keep sauteing.

    Method For Fruit Custard:- Take 1/2 cup of milk and add custard powder in it and mix till it dissolve.
    Boil milk with sugar in saucepan and stir, Add custard paste in boiling milk, keep stirring. switch off the flame and let them cool down on room temperature.
    when it cool down add fruits in it.

  7. 7

    Method For Peru Kachalu:- Add sugar, black pepper powder and black salt  in sliced guava, mix and mash mash and mix, refrigerate for an hour before serving.

  8. 8

    Method For Zeera Rice:- Wash basmati rice.
    Heat oil and splutter cumin seeds, add water and salt mix it. Add basmati rice and cook till done.

  9. 9

    Method for Green SaladTake fresh cucumbers, tomatoes and sliced it.

  10. 10

    Method for Buttermilk:-Make smooth buttermilk by adding salt and roasted cumin seeds.

  11. 11

    Make wheat flour chapati and fry papad in heated oil.

  12. 12

    Delicious veg thali is ready to eat.
