Ingredients

  • 1 lbground beef
  • 1/2 cupchopped onion
  • 2 tspdried oregano leaves
  • 1 tspground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tspgarlic powder
  • 1 can(14 1/2 oz.) beef broth
  • 2 tbsptomato paste
  • 1 1/2 cupuncooked penne pasta
  • 1 1/2 cupfrozen leaf spinach
  • 3/4 cupcrumbled feta cheese
  • 1 can(14 1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained

  1. 1

    Cook ground beef and onion in large skillet, on medium-high heat until beef is cooked, stirring occasionally.

    Drain fat.

  3. 3

    Add oregano, cinnamon and garlic powder. Mix well.

  4. 4

    Stir in broth, tomatoes, and tomato paste.

  5. 5

    Bring to a boil.

  6. 6

    Stir in pasta.

  7. 7

    Reduce heat to medium; cover and cook 10 minutes or until pasta is nearly tender.

  8. 8

    Stir in spinach and 1/2 cup feta cheese. Cover.

  9. 9

    Cook 5 minutes longer.

  10. 10

    Sprinkle with remaining feta cheese. Cover.

  11. 11

    Let stand 5 minutes.
