Ingredients

  • 1000g
  • 100 gBlue band
  • 50 gSugar
  • Cooking oil
  • 2eggs
  • 1 glassmilk

Steps

  1. 1

    Sieve flour into a basin add in sugar and mix together and add blue band and rub in the flour.

  2. 2

    Best the eggs and add in milk. Slowly by slowly add.milk as you knead.Add milk if needed Knead until you get a soft elastic dough

  3. 3

    Cover the dough and let it rest for 1'hour.

  4. 4

    Divide the dough into sizeable portions.That can allow you to cut the mandazi shapes. Using a rolling pin roll the dough so that it's not too thick or too thin. Cut into desirable shapes.

  5. 5

    Place them on a flat surface and cover them. Meanwhile heat the oil.

    Test whether the oil has heated by use of one piece. If heated place in the.mandazis carefully let them rise and turn over. Let it cook to golden brown and turn on the other side to cook to golden brown. Once done remove and put aside in a bowl to cool

    Once through serve.with hot tea coffee or chocolate
