I came across this recipe on Rosanna Pansino's channel, "Nerdy Nummies", when I was helping plan my brother's 7th birthday party a few years ago.

This was one of the first cakes I made by myself and I thought I'd be able to manage using fondant...and even though I realized how much more difficult it truly was, the cake tasted great and looked alright, just slightly lumpy!

Split the cake batter into thirds: leave one white, then use the food coloring to make the other portions red and blue.
