  • 4 largePortobello mushroom caps
  • 4 tbspEVOO
  • 2 tbspbalsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbspdijon mustard
  • 1 dashItalian seasoning
  • 4unit Hamburger buns or other rolls, insides toasted
  • 4unit swiss cheese, sliced thickly

  1. 1

    Preheat broiler on high.

  2. 2

    Mix together oil, vinegar, mustard, and Italian seasoning to make a dressing.

  3. 3

    Brush dressing onto mushroom caps, both tops and bottoms, allow to sit for at least 10 minutes.

  4. 4

    Broil mushroom caps until cooked through (around 10-15 minutes), flipping once.

  5. 5

    Place cheese slices onto the caps, then finish under the broiler to melt.

  6. 6

    Serve on buns with your choice of condiments (I recommend tomato slices, ketchup, and onions).
