This was the recipe tried on one Sunday dinner when my little 3 yr old princess demanded for a pizza and I was unable to arrange it for her. So I experimented this. It was not only a tasty one but a healthier one too.

Ingredients

2 units
  1. For dough-
  2. 1/2 cupbaisan
  3. 1 tbspcornflour
  4. to tasteSalt
  5. 1 tbspoil
  6. 1 tspeach Red chilli powder and turmeric powder
  7. For filling -
  8. 1 cupTomato puree
  9. 1Chopped onion and tomato medium size each
  10. 1.5 tspGinger garlic paste
  11. to tasteSalt and pepper
  12. 1 tbspRed chill powder
  13. 1.5 tbspOil
  14. 1/4 cupBoiled chicken (optional)
  15. 1 cupGrated cheese

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix all the ingredients for the dough and knead to form a smooth dough using water. Keep it aside covered for 30 mins.

  2. 2

    For the filling. Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onion and tomato and saute for few mins. Add ginger garlic paste and powder masalas and cook well until oil separates. Add salt, pepper and boiled chicken and keep it aside.

  3. 3

    Divide the dough into equal portions. Roll it into a thin chapatti. Keep it on a hot tawa and cook it for few seconds. Flip it over and put 1tbsp of filling and 2 tbsp of cheese and fold it to form a semicircle.

    Cut into wedges. Serve hot with ketchup.
