Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 4 mediumPortabella mushrooms with stems removed
  2. 1 mediumOnion cut into half inch slices
  3. 3 tbspolive oil
  4. 3/4 tspsalt
  5. 1/2 tspground black pepper
  6. 1avocado
  7. 2 tbsplow fat or soy yogurt
  8. 1/2 tspminced garlic

Steps

  1. 1

    Fresh onion and mushroom slices with oil

  2. 2

    Sprinkle with 1/2 a teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper

  3. 3

    Heat large skillet or grilling pan over medium heat until hot

  4. 4

    Add mushrooms cook until tender approximately 8 to 10 minutes

  5. 5

    Transfer mushrooms to plate cavity side up cover to keep warm

  6. 6

    Using the same skillet cook onion slices until golden brown about 8 minutes

  7. 7

    Meanwhile in a bowl combine half of avocado yogurt garlic and their meaning 1/4 teaspoon of salt and pepper. Mash until smooth
