Ingredients

  1. 6corn tortillas
  2. 1 canBlack beans rinsed and drained
  3. 1/2 cupwater
  4. 1 tspChili powder
  5. 1avocado sliced or guacamole
  6. 1 cupshredded romaine lettuce
  7. 1salsa

Cooking Instructions

    Warm the tortillas

  2. 2

    Heat the beans water and chili powder in a saucepan

  3. 3

    Mash the beans with a potato masher

  4. 4

    spoon the beans and avocado or guacamole onto warm tortillas

  5. 5

    Sprinkle with lettuce season with salsa and roll into burritos

  6. 6

    Variations for fillings include the following: tex-mex leftovers, sweet potato cilantro and pan fried mushrooms, pinto beans and Southwest salsa, broiled tofu with shredded romaine lettuce and salsa , cooked fish or chicken with cilantro and black beans
