Ingredients

  1. 2medium size potatoes peeled and chopped
  2. 1/2 cupcarrot finely chopped
  3. 1/2 cupbeetroot finely chopped
  4. 1/2french beens finely chopped
  5. 1/2 cuponion finely chopped
  6. 1/2 cupgreen peas
  7. 1/2 cupthick poha
  8. 1 tspeach ginger, garlic, green chilli paste
  9. 1/2 tspgaram masala powder
  10. 1/2 tspamchur powder
  11. 2 tspoil
  12. to tasteSalt
  13. Breadcrumbs for rolling cutlet
  14. Oil for deep fry
  15. 1/2 cupplain flour (maida) dissolved in water for batter

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan, add chopped onions & saute on a medium flame for 1 minute.

  2. 2

    Add all the vegetables & mix well.

  3. 3

    Cover & cook on a low flame till the vegetables are cooked, while stirring occasionally.

  4. 4

    Add 1 tsp of each ginger, garlic, chilli paste, salt, amchur powder, garam masala powder & mix well.

  5. 5

    Mash the mixture using a potato masher.

  6. 6

    Remove from the flame transfer the mixture to a plate & allow it to cool.

  7. 7

    Add thick poha into a mixture & mix well.

  8. 8

    Furthermore using a heart shape or round mould give a shape to cutlet.

  9. 9

    Dip each cutlet in the prepared batter & roll in the breadcrumbs.

  10. 10

    Heat the oil in a kadhai & deep fry each cutlet till it turns golden brown from both the sides.
