Ingredients

15 rolls
  • 23/4 cupall purpose flour
  • 1egg
  • 3 tbspsugar
  • 1/4 tspsalt
  • 21/4 tablespoonyeast
  • 1/4 cupmilk
  • 1/2 cupwater
  • 2 tbspmargarine
  • Cinnamon paste
  • 2 tbspmargarine
  • 2 tbspcinnamon
  • 1/2 cupsugar
  • Sugar syrup
  • 1/2 cupicing sugar
  • 2 tbspmilk
  • 1 tspvanilla essence

Steps

1 hour
  1. 1

    Add all try ingredient and mix well

  2. 2

    Rub in margarine and the egg

  3. 3

    Add milk and water and knead the doughuntill its not sticky on hands or kneading surface.

  4. 4

    Leave in a warm place and let rise for 10 minutes or till it doubles in size

  5. 5

    As you wait make cinnamon mixture by adding all the ingredients in a bowl and mix

  6. 6

    Puff it an roll like chapati

  7. 7

    Apply the cinnamon paste.Slice thin slices and roll them up then arrange in baking tin closely as in the photo

    Let rise in a warm place for 10 more minutes

  9. 9

    Bake at 180 degrees until they brown

  10. 10

    Apply sugar syrup while warm and enjoy
