  • 1/2 stickbutter
  • 6 tbspbutter
  • 3/4 cupbrown sugar firmly packed
  • 1/2 cupSugar
  • 2eggs
  • 1 tspvanilla
  • 1 1/2 cupflour
  • 1 tspbaking soda
  • 1 tspcinnamon
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • 3 cupoats
  • 1 cupraisins

    Preheat oven to 350°

  2. 2

    In a large bowl, beat butter and sugars on medium speed of electric mixer until creamy.

  3. 3

    Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.

  4. 4

    In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well.

  5. 5

    Combine flour mix to butter mix; mix well.

  6. 6

    Add oats and raisins; mix well

  7. 7

    Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.

  8. 8

    Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown. Cool 1 minute and remove to wire rack.
