Ingredients

  1. 4 cloveminced garlic
  2. 1/4 cupbutter
  3. 1/2 cupfresh grated parmesan cheese
  4. 1 tspkosher salt
  5. 1 dashblack pepper
  6. 1 lbbrussel sprouts, cut in half lengthwise
  7. 1/2 cupdiced white onion

Steps

25 mins
  1. 1

    melt butter in a pan large enough to fit all ingredients over med-high heat; add onions

  2. 2

    sauté onions until soft and translucent, then add garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes or until garlic becomes aromatic

  3. 3

    place brussel sprouts cut-side down into the pan and sprinkle with salt and pepper

  4. 4

    allow brussel sprouts to cook for 4-6 minutes per side, turning once

  5. 5

    Remove pan from heat and add parmesan cheese
