I was thinking to make Gujia with some different filling. As Cashew Barfee is my weakness so I choose Cashew as filler.

I was thinking to make Gujia with some different filling. As Cashew Barfee is my weakness so I choose Cashew as filler.
Steps

Add 150g oil to flour and mix it with the help of your palm, after mixing well add little water and make dough. Keep aside.

Take Cashew in a mixture grinder add 3-4 Saffron and grind it.

In a pan, add this Cashew mixture, and stir for 5 mints then add Sugar and fig pieces. Switch off the flame when pan starts leaving oil. Keep aside for 1/2 hour.

Take 2tbs Flour add 2tbs water and make a thick paste.

Make small balls out of dough and roll them. Fill Cashew mixture inside it. And close the edges properly with help of flour paste. (You can use Gujia Sancha to make Gujia)

Now deep fry them in slow fame. It will take 12-15 mints for deep frying each segment of Gujia.

Now ready to eat. Before serving them before the guests, dip them in hot Sugar syrup(in a pan take 1 bowl sugar and 1/2 bowl water and stir for 10 mints on full flame. Add Saffron and Cardamon.)

Garnish them with your favorite dry fruits.

Tip: One can use readymade Cashew Barfee instead of making Cashew mixture at home.
