Soak chana dal in water for more than 2-3 hours.

Drain the water and grind it to make a smooth paste.

Add all the ingredients except water in separate bowl. Mix them

Add water if need to adjust the thick consistency batter for steaming purpose

In a steamer, put the batter in small portions like pakoras or idlis
- 6
Cook the Bafauri for 10 to 15 minutes in the steamer. Remove them
- 7
Serve Bafauri as snack with green chutney.
