Scotch eggs
Most edible tea-item for a heavy breakfast.
Steps

Place the eggs into a pot of water

Over high heat,allow the eggs to boil

Drain and thaw the eggs under cold running water

Peel the eggs carefully

In a bowl, mix in the sausage meat, parsley & the spring onions

Season well with the salt and black pepper

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions

Flatten out each portion into oval shapes

In a separate bowl,put in the flour and season it lightly

Roll in the boiled eggs in the flour

Wrap each egg with the oval sausages meat

The coating should be smooth and covers the egg totaly

Dip each meat-coated egg in the beaten egg,it should cover the entire surface area

Roll each egg into the breadcrumbs to coat completely

Heat the vegetable oil in a pan to 180 degrees

Carefully place each scotch egg into the hot oil

Deep fry for 6-8 minutes, until golden and crisp

The sausage-meat should be completely cooked

Carefully,remove from the oil and drain on a greese proof paper

Scotch eggs can be served hot,warm or cold

Garnish and serve as a tea-item.
