This is our usual sauce we serve with roast chicken or pork at Christmas

Ingredients

30 mins
  1. 650 mlfull fat coconut milk
  2. 1onion, chopped
  3. 50 gramsStork margarine - the gold foil wrapped block
  4. 6whole black peppercorns
  5. 6 cloves(the spice)
  6. 2 sprigsfresh thyme
  7. 1bay leaf
  8. 100 gramsgluten-free breadcrumbs
  9. pinchground nutmeg
  10. salt & pepper

Cooking Instructions

30 mins
  1. 1

    Put the milk, margarine, onion, cloves, peppercorns, thyme and bay leaf in a small saucepan and simmer for 20 minutes

  2. 2

    Strain but reserve the liquid and get rid of the strained solids

  3. 3

    Put the liquid back in the pan and stir in the breadcrumbs, simmering for 5 minutes

  4. 4

    Season to taste and serve with roast turkey, chicken, pork or beef
