Granny's Chicken Pot Pie
My husband loves this, one of his favorites
Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 425

Place one crust in bottom of glass pie dish

Place holes in bottom crust and release air
- 4
Cook all ingredients until thick
- 5
Pour filling into pan
- 6
Place top crust and press sides
- 7
Poke holes in top crust to prevent bubbles
- 8
Cook 20 mins then removes and place aluminum foil on edge to prevent burning
- 9
Cook 20 more mins
- 10
Serve and enjoy

This is my sons favorite meal. Traditionally, pot pie has peas as one of its veggies, but my kids and husband aren't fond of peas, so we substitute 1 cup of small broccoli florets instead. We also like to add some shredded cheese into ours, it's such a yummy addition.This recipe can be a bit time consuming, but it is well worth it. Christina -

Save time by using rotisserie chicken and frozen pie crust. They will still love you. You can add any vegetables you like I had leftover garden green beans and corn and no peas and used those scaling back on my other vegetables. cindybear -
