Ingredients

  1. For dough
  2. 500 gmswheat flour
  3. 5 tablespoonOil
  4. 1 teaspoonSalt
  5. For stuffing
  6. 500 gmPotato
  7. 2Onion medium chopped
  8. 10-12Garlic chopped
  9. 50 gmCoriander leaves chopped
  10. 1/2 teaspoonAjwain
  11. 1/2 teaspoonKalonji
  12. 2 teaspoonRoasted jeera powder
  13. Salt as required
  14. 2 tablespoonOil (to fry the stuffing)
  15. 5-6Green chillies chopped

Steps

    Boil and mash the potatoes.

  2. 2

    Heat oil in kadai. Add chopped onions. Fry in low flame. Then add chopped garlic. Fry till raw smell goes.

    Now add chopped green chillies and the mashed potatoes.

  4. 4

    Add kalonji, ajwain, salt, roasted jeera powder and salt. Mix everything very well. Fry them in low flame.

  5. 5

    At last add the coriander leaves and mix it nicely with the potato mixture. Now switch off the flame. Let it cool.

  6. 6

    Make the dough with ata, salt and oil. The dough must be soft. Leave it for half an hour.

  7. 7

    Now take a small ball of dough, roll it and fill it with the potato mixture and roll it.

  8. 8

    Heat the tawa and fry the paratha with oil or ghee if you want. Serve hot.
