Steps

place 2 cups of brown sugar and 2 cups of shoyu in a big enough pot for the chicken

put the stove on a medium to high heat and stir the brown sugar and shoyu mixture until the brown sugar dissolves

add chicken thighs to the shoyu and brown sugar mixture
- 4
cut up the garlic into halves and place into the pot
- 5
let the chicken boil for 30 minutes
- 6
turn the heat down to medium to low heat and cover
- 7
the chicken is ready to eat once the center is no longer pink
