This is basically fasting dish. When people r doing fasting during any festival session this dish is very popular in demand that time.it is very tasty,delicious and healthy food.it is made with sago and very few spices with little lemon juice and some of sugar.it is very quick and healthy breakfast as well.in India people like to it without any fasting as well as a healthy breakfast and light dinner.

First take 1cup sago and wash it two to three times and sock in 1 -1/2 cup normal water for 15 minuets.after that drain all water from sabudana and let them dry for 1hour under the fan on clean kitchen towel.

Heat 2-3 tbsp oil in pan add cumin seeds,pinch of hing and curry leaves after Cracking add green chilly chopped,peanuts and chopped potatoes in it,let them cook until potatoes properly soft cover with lid.now add socked and dry sabudana in it and add rock salt and sugar,lemon juice and chopped peanuts and red chilly powder in it cook for 4-5 minuets until sabudana turns transparent and properly cooked.now our sabudana khichdi is ready to serve.
