Ingredients

  • 1 lbBraising or stewing steak cubed
  • 1Onion chopped
  • 1Tin baked beans
  • 2Oxo cubes
  • 1 pinchSalt and pepper
  • 5 mediumcarrots sliced

Steps

  1. 1

    Put all ingredients into a large saucepan and add enough water to come up just below the level of the ingredients. Bring to the boil and simmer for 45 minutes to an hour gently

  2. 2

    Serve with dumplings and boiled potatoes
