Preheat oven to 180 degrees

Grease baking tin and dust with flour

Mix the butter with the sugar until light and fluffy

Add eggs and mix well

Add the cocoa and mix well

Add buttermilk (mala) alternating with flour, baking powder and bicarbonate of soda. Mix well until well combined

Pour into baking tin and bake for 50-60 minutes until an inserted skewer comes out clean

For the chocolate cream

200 gm butter

2 cups icing sugar

1/2 cup cocoa

2 tbls milk

Soften the butter with a wooden spoon until light and fluffy, add milk, 1 tsp vanilla essence, milk and icing sugar

Mix well until well combined and there are no lumps

For ganache

Melt dark chocolate and pour some heavy cream and mix well

Pour over cake
