Ingredients

Serves 4-6 servings
  • 2 cupsdried pinto beans (about 300 grams)
  • 1 1/8 poundspork ribs (about 500 grams)
  • 1onion
  • 1garlic clove
  • 3 slicesbacon
  • 7 ouncesMexican-style chorizo (about 200 grams)
  • 3hot dogs
  • 2jalapeño peppers
  • Cilantro and salt

  1. 1

    Cook the beans with the garlic, salt, cilantro, and half the onion.

  2. 2

    In a separate pan, fry the bacon and chorizo, then remove from the heat.

  3. 3

    In the same fat, fry the cleaned and seeded jalapeños and the remaining onion, both sliced into rings. Fry the pork ribs in the same way.

  4. 4

    Slice the hot dogs into rings as well. Set everything aside until the beans are cooked.

    Once the beans are cooked, add all the sautéed ingredients to the beans and their broth. Bring everything to a boil and season to taste.

  6. 6

    Serve and enjoy with warm tortillas.
