It's a typical indian recipe & bengali dish
Steps

Boiled the kathal complitely.

Heat ghee in a pan add red chilli whole, cumin seeds & bay leaves & saute.

Add onion & fry then add ginger garlick paste & stir & add tomato & green chilli paste.

Add salt & cover & cook in low flame in 5 min.

After 5 min add termeric,red chilli powder,Coriander powder,cuumin powder,garam masala powder & stir.

Add boiled kathal and stir.

Cover & cook in 10 min.

Then add water and cook in 5 min.

Garnishing with tomato,onion & green chilli and ready to serve.
