Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 1.1 lbspressed pork cracklings (chicharrón prensado)
  2. 1.1 lbspeeled tomatoes
  3. 1 tablespoonchicken bouillon powder
  4. 1 clovegarlic
  5. 2serrano peppers
  6. 1/2onion
  7. 2cooked and chopped nopales (cactus paddles)
  8. Salt to taste

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Boil the washed tomatoes together with the serrano peppers.

  2. 2

    In a saucepan, fry the pressed pork cracklings. Once ready, add the nopales.

  3. 3

    Blend the boiled tomatoes and peppers with the onion and chicken bouillon powder until smooth.

  4. 4

    Pour the tomato sauce over the pork cracklings, add salt to taste, and let it simmer for 5 minutes.

  5. 5

    Done! Serve with beans.
