  1. 2 pounds95% lean ground beef
  2. 1/2 cupwhole wheat bread crumbs
  3. 2large eggs
  4. 1medium yellow onion, chopped
  5. 4 clovesgarlic, minced
  6. 2 teaspoonsground ginger
  7. 2 teaspoonssalt
  8. 2 teaspoonspepper

    Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

    Mix the bread crumbs, eggs, onions, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.

  3. 3

    Add the ground beef and begin to mix by hand. Mixing the meat by hand ensures the meat holds structure and doesn't turn into a paste.

  4. 4

    Roll up 16 meatballs at 3 ounces each and place them onto a baking sheet.

  5. 5

    Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
