In a pot over heat, melt the sugar without stirring it with a spoon.

Hold the pot handle and swirl it until the sugar melts and turns brown. Add the washed rice, boiling water, cinnamon, bay leaves, salt, and oil, then stir.

Boil the almonds, peel them, and split them in half. In a pan over heat, add the ghee and almonds, and toast the almonds. After toasting, turn off the heat and add the raisins.

Spread the rice on a serving dish and distribute the nuts on top.

Serve hot. Enjoy!

Cover until fully cooked, then stir. The rice should be done.
