Rinse the yellow lentils thoroughly in a bowl, then place them in a pot.

Slice the potato, zucchini, carrot, onions, and tomatoes into thick pieces and add them to the lentils.

Slice the garlic cloves thinly and add them to the pot with the lentils and vegetables. Add plenty of water to cover everything, then place the pot over heat and cook until the vegetables and lentils are very tender.

Once the lentils and vegetables are cooked, blend the mixture well in a blender, then return it to the pot. Add the spices and salt, and bring the pot back to the heat. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes, then remove from heat.
