Ingredients

10 servings
  1. 1 kgarrowroots
  2. 2 tbsoil
  3. 1onion/spring onion
  4. 1 cupgreen maize pre-boiled
  5. 1 cupfresh cream or milk
  6. 2 tbsbutter or margarine
  7. Salt

  1. 1

    Wash the arrowroots and place them in pot of boiling water

  2. 2

    When ready and cooked drain excess water mash them cover n set aside

  3. 3

    In a separate pan,fry the onion with little oil(I used spring onion it has great taste)

  4. 4

    Add maize and fried onions to arrowroots. Mash to rough paste

  5. 5

    Add fresh cream or milk,butter and salt.mash until all the ingredient are well blended.

  6. 6

    Serve with beef stew or ndengu curry
