Ingredients

  1. 2 cupAll Purpose Flour
  2. to tasteSalt
  3. 1 tspAjwain
  4. 1 tbspCold Butter
  5. Oil for Deep frying
  6. Small katori for the shape
  7. For the stuffing -
  8. 1 cupBoiled chana
  9. to tasteSalt
  10. 1 tspRed Chilli powder
  11. 1 tspRoasted Cumin powder
  12. 2 tbspGreen chutney
  13. 2 tbspTamarind chutney
  14. 1 cupCurd
  15. 1 cupOnion chopped
  16. 1 cupTomato chopped
  17. 1Chilli chopped
  18. 1 tspSev and namkeen
  19. 1 tbspPomegranate seeds

Steps

  1. 1

    In a wide bowl,take the flour,salt,ajwain,and cold butter.crumble well.
    Add water, slowly and knead a stiff dough.
    Dust well and roll out thin, using a katori,press out the rounds,grease the katoris that you want shape on,press the cut circles on the katoris,prick with fork all over the katoris,so that it doesn't puff up.

    Heat a kadai with oil.gentle drop the katoris in to the hot oil
    Cook on low flame,till the katoris turn crispy,remove on kitchen towel.Then again fry for a second time,so that

    The katoris become crispy.
    Drain and store in an air container.
    Assemble the fried katoris on a plate.
    Add chana,onion,tomato,chilli,green chutney,tamarind chutney,curd top with sev and namkeen
    Serve
