Steps

Grind soaked daal to a fine paste with very less quantity of water.

In a non stick pan,heat 1 tsp of oil.add heeng andjeera.

When it splutters,add 2tsp of chopped onion.saute till pink.

Now add paste of daal.saute until the colour changes and the moisture evaporates.

Switch off the flame.Let it cool in a plate.

Now add leftover onions and all the other ingredients except chaat masala.

Mix them very nicely as the mixture will be crumbly.

Shape the balls according to your choice and shallow fry them.

Sprinkle some chaat masala.
- 10
Serve hot with mint coriander chutney or sauce.
