Steps

Clean the chicken pieces and marinate with vinegar, curd and black pepper overnight

Heat some oil in pan and fry the marinated chicken pieces till it's light brown

Remove the chicken and keep aside. Add the whole garam masala pieces, bay leaves, onion pieces, tomato, ginger and garlic. Fry till it's golden brown and remove

Paste the above mix inthe grinder and add it with the marination mix left out. Add the jeera powder and chilli powder into this and mix well

Add the above masala paste into the pan. If needed add some more oil. Saute the masala till it's well cooked and then add the fried chicken pieces into it

Once the chicken softens add salt as per taste and let it cook for some more time. Add some water and bring to boil.

Add Garam masala from top and remove. Serve with rice or parathas
