Boil cabbage in water for 5-7 minutes. Discard water so that the smell of cabbage is released. Dont throw this water. This water can be used for soup etc.

In a thick bottom pan boil milk and add boiled cabbage to it and let it simmer for at least 15-20 minutes on low heat. Stir in between to avoid burning or sticking at base.

When cabbage is done, milk thickened and kheer like consistency achieved add sugar, elaichi powder and 1 spoon of rose water and cook for 2-3 minutes more. mix well.

Add chopped dry fruits and chopped nuts of your choice and cool it down. Keep in fridge for an hour at least

Serve this rabri like delicacy when cooled.
