Wash and soak the gooseberries into water with alum mixture for over night

Next day drain out the water and wash it 2-3 times

Now take a fork and make mark all over the surface of it

Boil water and add sugar into it

As it becomes slight thick add the gooseberries

Keep the heat low and cover the pot well
- 7
Allow it to cook properly

As it is soft,switch off the flame and cool it down
- 9
Keep it in a an airtight container and use.
